Xray Eyeballs – X
Hey, do you like punk and synth and stuff? Of course you do! I like it too. Well, at least I think this kinda falls into those genres. Kinda like Joy Division, ya know? I like Joy Division too. I really like New Order as well. Now, I’m not really sure how that all relates to this song, but it’s absolutely crucial for your understanding of this review. CRUCIAL UNDERSTANDING! Well, this is where Xray Eyeballs’ – “X” comes in. From what I can discern the song seems about controlling someone. I’m not very good at the lyrics stuff. It also doesn’t help that lyrics are not yet available for this song. Lovely. Dramatic. I’m ecstatic. Well, not really. The instrumentals are where I’m good at. I really like the upbeat nature of the song, it makes me feel all… Uh… Pumped I guess? Is that what young people say nowadays? The bass is pretty darn powerful, and melds pretty well with that guitar that decides to ping around the treble. Hey, there’s even a synth making it all spacey. This song made my day, so here, listen to it! Surely my description doesn’t do it any sort of justice. Not even remotely.
